Retail Scheduler – Glasgow, KY

Purpose

The role of the of the Retail Scheduler is to schedule retail production lines, ensure the acceptability of WIP materials, monitor the quality of production in process, and provide assurance that our company produces a quality marketable product. Creating master data for new products, preparing various requisitions, and expediting WIP materials to ensure 3A Composites receives our orders from customers.  Verify all inbound freight; control inventories of finished goods and WIP materials.  Process related SAP procedures to meet business standard practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare retail production schedules as required and monitor progression of production lines, making changes as required. Convert planned orders to actual production orders generating lead time for orders and communication with Customer Service.
• Prepare WIP material orders to meet required retail production schedules, as required.
• Complete required transactions in SAP for any product as necessary in SAP system.
• Provide accurate and timely lead times to customer service
• Upload finished goods and WIP material consumed to SAP
• Manage our contract packaging company (shipping and production order scheduling)
• Process customer returns in coordination with Quality and Logistics departments
• Serve as the direct contact for retail customers for orders, inquiries, complaints, etc.
• Coordinate finished goods inventories and outbound shipments with Logistics department

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years scheduling experience
• High School Diploma Required; Associates Degree Preferred
• Experience working within an ERP, SAP experience preferred
• Strong analytic skills and experience working with and analyzing data
