Purpose of this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to support a high-priority, cross-functional project focused on the design, development, and commercialization of a heat-activated adhesive (HA) material. This role offers hands-on experience in product development, manufacturing processes, and capital equipment implementation within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities of this role…

• Assist in the design and development of product prototypes, including materials and construction parameters
• Support lab and field validation of prototypes and final product designs
• Participate in production trials and commissioning of new equipment
• Contribute to the design and acquisition of capital equipment (CapEx)
• Assist with data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Present findings and project updates to stakeholders

The knowledge, skills, and abilities you will bring…

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong foundation in:
  • Mechanics of materials
  • Dynamics
  • Mathematics and chemistry
• Working knowledge of statistics
