Purpose of this role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to support a high-priority, cross-functional project focused on the design, development, and commercialization of a heat-activated adhesive (HA) material. This role offers hands-on experience in product development, manufacturing processes, and capital equipment implementation within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities of this role…
- Assist in the design and development of product prototypes, including materials and construction parameters
- Support lab and field validation of prototypes and final product designs
- Participate in production trials and commissioning of new equipment
- Contribute to the design and acquisition of capital equipment (CapEx)
- Assist with data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Present findings and project updates to stakeholders

- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong foundation in:
- Mechanics of materials
- Dynamics
- Mathematics and chemistry
- Working knowledge of statistics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
