About the role:
The EHS Temporary Employee will assist the EHS team in supporting and maintaining compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. This short-term role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in workplace safety, audits, documentation, and compliance initiatives.
In this position, you will be responsible for…
Primary:
- Help maintain and organize safety data sheets (SDS) and EHS documentation Assist with safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, spreadsheet management, and filing.
Other:
- Support the implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Performance Metrics updates
- Assist in training coordination and tracking employee EHS training records.
- Conduct basic sampling, monitoring, and inspections if needed.
- Help prepare reports for internal use or regulatory agencies.
Qualifications for this position…
- High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing or holding a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of OSHA and/or EPA regulations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and follow direction.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
