Baltek Inc., a leading manufacturer of foam and balsa wood core materials, is seeking reliable and motivated Extruder Operators to join the plant team in High Point, NC.

Extruder Operators

This position is responsible for the operation, adjustment and monitoring of FCL extrusion equipment  involved in the operation of the Baltek Inc. production facility. These activities include the set-up and trouble shooting of the equipment, process conditions and raw materials.

This position works in a warehouse setting that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with a high exposure to non-hazardous dust. Please consider these conditions before applying.

Please note, this shift runs on a 12 hour, 2-2-3 schedule. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis is required, as well as, a willingness to work overtime as needed. Successful candidates must embrace all company code of conduct, as well as environment, health and safety policies.

Job requirements include: Ability to read, write & maintain accurate records; comprehension of basic math; previous experience with basic computer functions; LOTO experience.

Responsibilities include: Startup, thread-up, & shutdown of Foam Cor Line; Monitor entire line in coordination with one other operator; Monitor production schedule and complete product change overs; other duties as assigned by Management.
